NONWOVEN FIBERS
The Poole Company offers sustainable nonwoven fibers available in polyester staple, polypropylene staple, and an SCS Certified EcoSure® 100% PCR PET polymer. The primary uses of nonwoven fibers include:
- Hygiene - diapers and other hygienic uses
- Wipes - spunlace, airlaid, chemical, and thermal-bonded fabrics
- Industrial - needle punch and carded thermal & chemical bond substrates, pads, cleaning pads
- Foam replacement fibers
Polyester Fiber Specs
- 1.5 denier in semi-dull and optically brightened fibers, customized for optimum spunlace performance & value
- 1.5, 6 and 9 denier in semi-dull and optically brightened fiber, created for enhanced performance in chemical bond applications
- 1.5, 3, 6 and 9 denier semi-dull and optically brightened fiber, designed for excellent performance in needlepunch end uses
- 1.0 and 2.25 denier superwhite coploymer fiber, with enhanced moisture management capability
Polypropylene Fiber Specs
- Denier Range: 2.2 - 20.0 in standard round solid
- Cut Lengths (mm): 38 to 100
- Lusters: semi-dull and bright
- Tenacity: regular
EcoSure® Nonwovens
The Poole Company also offers EcoSure fibers for nonwovens that are manufactured with 100% PCR PET polymer.
