RECYCLED FIBERS: ECOSURE

Made for the environmentally-conscious consumer, EcoSure recycled fibers are made from 100% post-consumer recycled PET packaging. What is PET?  PET is Polyethylene Terephthalate, a plastic resin used to make bottles for soft drinks and other consumer products.

Poole Company has taken PET and developed it into EcoSure, our 100% post-consumer recycled polymer fiber available in a variety of end use products including cushions, apparel, mattresses, wipes, scrub pads, and more.

EcoSure applications include:

• Textile fibers (100% & blended apparel)
• Nonwovens
• Heavy denier (Wellstrand)
• Fiberfill

EcoSure Recycled Fibers: Performance From a Bottle

EcoSure fibers are chemically and functionally similar to those made from non-recycled fibers with one major difference: EcoSure fibers are sustainable fibers and reduce the amount of waste that burdens our landfills and diminishes our earth’s natural resources and ultimately providing performance from a bottle.  Download our PET PCR Polymer and Environmental Facts Sheet.

EcoSure PET Fiber

EcoSure polyester fibers are produced from 100% recycled post-consumer PET containers.  Both EcoSure Wellstrand and EcoSure fibers are certified by Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) as made from 100% PCR polymer.  EcoSure staple products are available in 1.2 denier to 500 denier.

The Poole Company also offers EcoSure Dry for the performance apparel indsustry in need of a moisture wicking material.
